Why do I not picture the boy racing over to Mom or Dad and tugging on their sleeve with a plea to get one of those?

That is not a true kilt but a utili-kilt. Or as Weasel and I like to call them Man skirts. You will always see one or two of these "kilts" at the ren-faire. They look really sad next to the real thing.

That is one ugly look with those sandals.I think the only thing that looks good with a utilikilt are combat boots. ;)
