After dusting the place, opening the windows and airing it out, I've decided to stay, for a little bit. I'm still thinking about moving.
But in the meantime, I'd like to share with you the autumn we've been having. I couldn't decide between the photo above, and the one below. So I decided to go with both.

As I was walking around the Arch grounds this weekend, I ventured into the museum at the base of the Arch. There, I found out that it turns 45 this week; October 28. There was even birthday cake being offered for the weekend visitors.

Isn't is great that for it's 45th autumn, the Arch and the area around it are so colorful.

The photos above and below are a little "postcardie", but I still like them

And I didn't spend all of my time down at the Arch. The colors in my neighborhood are just as great; although photographing them can be more challenging; what with overhead powerlines and all. But I did manage to dodge most of them.

This is not my house, but near by.

I could avoid most of the powerlines, but not the parked cars.

City Hall.

The local fishing hole; Walker Pond in Kirkwood Park.
And that concludes today's autumn walk. There may be more. Or not. Who knows. But I'll leave you with this one:

You should be very pleased with all of these. As for the first 2, It's the landscape shot, for sure.
...and I don't consider "postcardie" a derogative term.
Thanks for the gorgeous fall photos in St. Lou!
